All pujas are individual puja, no common pujas which are in practice in other places. Ideally, puja duration will vary from 60 to 120+ minutes which depends upon the type of puja.

People from the south and west India follow this in the lunar month of Bhadrapada and people from the north follow this in the month of Ashwin. The duration of the Pitru paksha is 16 lunar days in the lunar month of Bhadrapada /Ashwin as per the Hindu calendar.
